Job requirements

JOB PURPOSE

To drive specification development, sales & market share growth, within the assigned territory by promoting RWC’s commercial & domestic product range, driving sales with Reliance Valves, John Guest, JG Speedfit and Underfloor Heating.

The successful candidate would be required to be based within Northern Ireland but have a remote function on accounts based within the Republic of Ireland.

Position Key Responsibilities

·         Achieve individual pipeline and contribute to national sales budget.

·         To manage and visit all RWC Stockists within NI and explore opportunities for increase stockists and product profiles.

·         Promote and secure specifications for RWC products (Reliance commercial products , Underfloor Heating, Speedfit and John Guest)

Within the HEVAC Market / OEM Markets

·         Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue in the assigned territory.

·         Build specifications with Mechanical Contractor and FM Markets

·         When required provide technical support and manage customer relationships.

·         Maintain accurate CRM Customer & pipeline records managing projects from inception to delivery.

·         Generate new business leads through distributors.

·         Use of ABI Project Tracking to create new business opportunities  

·         Meet performance KPIs, including face-to-face customer visits and exhibition networking

·         Maintain, develop, and sustain long-term lucrative business relationships

·         Regular, appropriate engagement with Distribution Management Teams

·         Communicate with National Key Account Team pertaining to progress with Key Accounts

·         Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures

·         Good understanding of the OEM market and OEM sales cycle

·         Ability to develop key OEM distributor agreements from ideation to completion

·         Work with key OEM distributors commercial teams to identify and win proxy business

·         A knowledge of the agricultural and OEM KANBAN sectors an advantage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE

·         Comply fully with all current health, safety & environmental regulations in operation within the company whilst carrying out your duties.

·         Strategic sales planning and execution

·         Able to build and grow internal and external stakeholder relationships

·         Proven experience selling into social housing & domestic newbuild market segments

·         Specification development and pipeline management

·         CRM proficiency (Salesforce)

·         Strong communication and relationship-building skills

·         Technical understanding of plumbing and heating systems

·         Collaboration across external stakeholders

·         Computer skills – general MS Office especially an in-depth knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint, Salesforce and SAP understanding

·         Demonstrates collaborative working relationships with various teams and departments across the business to drive success

·         Strong negotiation skills

·         Self-motivated growth mind set
